Volcanoes in Hawaii

Hawaii is known for the nice beaches , easygoing life and breathtaking volcanoes. This is the story about some of the most beautiful volcanoes in the world. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is on Hawaii Island (the Big Island). At its heart are the Kīlauea and Mauna Loa active volcanoes. The Crater Rim Drive passes steam vents and the Jaggar Museum, which features volcanology exhibits and a viewpoint overlooking Halema’uma’u Crater. Thick ferns mark the entrance to the Thurston Lava Tube (Nāhuku). The Chain of Craters Road weaves over lava. Trails crisscross the park.

Was 2011 and i arrive in Honolulu with a  flight from Europe. It was nice day in september sun was up like always , my best friend and hiking partner Lora was there with me. After we sleep well in the hotel we head to the park.

At the moment when we arrive at the park i was amaze by the amazing view on the whole area. From the drop point to the first volcano was a long way to the first volcano Kilauea

At the moment when we were there volcano was bit quite. Lot of people said that volcano are special , Hawaii ones are unique and beautiful .There are currently three active volcanoes in Hawaii. On Hawaii Island you’ll find Maunaloa and Kilauea in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Maunaloa last erupted in 1984 and Kilauea has been continuously erupting since 1983. Loihi is located underwater off the southern coast of Hawaii’s Big Island. Erupting since 1996, this emerging seamount may break the surface in about 250,000 years, adding a ninth island to the Hawaiian chain. Other notable volcano craters that you can hike and explore include Haleakala on Maui as well as Leahi (Diamond Head) and the National Memorial of the Pacific at Punchbowl on Oahu.

Getting there is not a problem because Hawaii is not that big and its easy reachable everything.
