With many cheap low budget companies flight to Geneva this city became one of the most popular city breaks in Europe.Geneva is a Swiss city that lies at the southern tip of expansive Lac Léman (Lake Geneva). Surrounded by the Alps and Jura mountains, the city has views of dramatic Mont Blanc. Headquarters of Europe’s United Nations and the Red Cross, it’s a global hub for diplomacy and banking. French influence is widespread, from the language to gastronomy and bohemian districts like Carouge. The city it self is very clean very good organize and has some amazing nature around. Geneva is part of the french speaking canton and is also famous for their good production of wine. So if you love wine many places in this city will offer you some super good wine. When you walk around the city you will notice the interesting architecture and of course the lovely lake which is in the center of the city. Around this lake you have all kind of bars , restaurants and shops. Perfect area for shopping and dining with friends. Also in the city you can find lot of museums and art galleries . Because of not having much time i went only to The Barbier-Mueller Museum, founded in 1977, is located at 10 rue Jean-Calvin and The Musée Rath is an art museum in Geneva, used exclusively for temporary exhibitions. It is the oldest purpose-built art museum in Switzerland. Also worth to visit is Victoria Hall is a concert hall located in downtown Geneva, Switzerland. It was built in 1891–1894 by the architect John Camoletti and financed by the consul of England, Daniel Fitzgerald Packenham there you can enjoy in some shows.Another amazing place is Grand Théâtre de Genève is an opera house in Geneva, Switzerland. As with many other opera houses, the Grand Théâtre de Genève is both a venue and an institution.
