Before the World Cup in Football start in 2010 i have booked flight ticket from Athens to Durban via Dubai. Week before they close the old International Airport and we arrive on King Shaka International Airport in Durban. First impression was that im coming in place where i dont know what to expect but somehow i start loving the place. Cause was a first time for me to get to South Africa and Durban i have no idea do they have public transport and how much is . So i took the expensive option and i took taxi that takes me to my couchsurfing host ( yes i was using couchsurfing in that time 🙂 )
Traveling maybe 25 km to the neighborhood where mainly indian were living. After few days friend took me and drive me to my permanent place .
The idea behind my trip was to explore Durban and South Africa. How time was passing i was loving more and more this place. For those who never been there and want to go i will write a short guide to places that you can visit and enjoy in Durban.
