We are at half of the month of April and slowly closing on May. We made a list of the best trips to make in May. If you still didn’t decide where to go consider some of those options. Spring gate aways for you and your friends.
1.Puerto Vallarta Mexico
If you are living in the eastern half of the US or Canada, or in Europe, the above Caribbean destinations are probably your best bet. But if you are living in the western half of the US or Canada, you should probably be focusing on Puerto Vallarta instead. Unlike some of the other above, Puerto Vallarta is a historic town with a lovely central district as well as all types of resort hotels up and down the beach.
Flights into Puerto Vallarta are typically fairly cheap even in high season. As you can see by the room rates mentioned just below, the hotel scene in PV runs quite a range. You can get a nice 3-star hotel a few blocks from the beach for almost nothing, but the 4-star chain resorts along the beach are not quite as cheap. Still, everything here is good value for most visitors, and it feels far more authentic than Cancun or Punta Cana.
2.Borneo trip in May
May is another excellent month of the year to visit Borneo, characterised by sunny days and minimal rainfall. Weather conditions are ideal for both trekking in the jungles of Sabah, and sun-bathing on the beaches – whatever takes your fancy!
Borneo, a giant, rugged island in Southeast Asia’s Malay Archipelago, is shared by the Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak, Indonesian Kalimantan and the tiny nation of Brunei. It’s known for its beaches and ancient, biodiverse rainforest, home to wildlife including orangutans and clouded leopards. In Sabah is 4,095m-tall Mount Kinabalu, the island’s highest peak, and, offshore, the famed dive site Sipadan Island.
3.Visiting Israel – Trip to Israel in May
May is the ideal time to visit Israel. Temperatures are pleasantly warm, there’s little rain and the clear, blue skies are perfect for photographing the country’s many religious monuments and buildings. The scenery is beautiful with spring-time flowers and there’s a number of important national and Jewish festivals making it a good time to delve into Israel’s culture and traditions.
Having on mind the fantastic weather in May, trip to Israel can be the perfect way to enjoy your holiday. Its warm enough to swim and yet is not that hot as can be in summer.Considering as a off season month May is bit cheaper for accommodation than summer.
4. Trip to Seychelles
May is an ideal month to visit the Seychelles, as it falls between the two blowier trade-wind periods that direct the Indian Ocean country’s weather patterns. May 2018 will be an especially viable window – March 24 will have observed the launch of a British Airways service from Heathrow to Mahé, the first direct flight to the islands in five years.
Trip to Seychellles is good all over the year but in May is slightly better because of the weather and less hot month. Trip to this wonderful island can be ideal for you and your friends.
5.Trip to Athens- May gate away
While Athens is definitely not as cheap as it used to be, it does have great weather in May, and it’s nicer than many people remember it from the old days. There’s almost no rain as well, so it’s an excellent time to explore the city before heading off to one or more of the Aegean islands for an early holiday if you can manage it.
Prices for hotels tend to be much cheaper in May before jumping up substantially in June. Hostels are good bargains all year round in Athens, but still many people find this to be a city that wears on them after only 3 or 4 days, so it’s fantastic that the islands are so easy to reach.
